The “Larger than Life” organization treats over 1,500 children every year who were diagnosed with cancer. The organization was founded in 2000 with the aim of improving the quality of life and wellbeing of children and their families, both in their homes and in hospitals, and operates in three areas: happiness, health and hope.
The “Larger than Life” organization is not funded by government budgets and all its activities are carried out thanks to donations and hundreds of volunteers who contribute their time and energy to the children.
Tidhar assists the organization in a variety of ways:
Every year Tidhar contributes to the organization’s annual fundraising campaign.
We recently launched the “Larger than Life Rooms” project, in which Tidhar employees, suppliers and partners realize a dream for the children and design their dream rooms.
Tidhar sponsors the organization’s annual gala event, and all proceeds are earmarked for funding medicines and treatments that are not in the Ministry of Health’s “health basket”.
Arie Bachar, one of the founders of Tidhar and main partners, is a senior member of the organization’s Board of Directors.
Tidhar also helped establish a kindergarten, together with our suppliers. Arie Bachar coordinated the planning and construction.
